Low temperatures are no challenge for NERAK conveyor technology. Our S-conveyors and angle bucket elevators are therefore reliably used in production and storage areas of the food industry where frozen or temperature-sensitive products have to be processed, even at ambient temperatures well below freezing.
In the food industry, our conveyor technology ensures particularly gentle transport between different levels – without any additional transfer points. The conveyed goods remain securely in the cup throughout the entire process and are neither pressed nor sheared. This preserves the structure of sensitive foods such as roasted coffee beans without breaking or damaging them.
We offer options specially developed for use in the food industry that are suitable for food contact. These include cups made from detectable plastics, which ensure a high level of product safety and reliably reduce the risk of foreign objects. These materials meet common safety standards and are ideal for sensitive conveyor processes in food production.
For use in the food industry, housings and frames can be individually adapted to specific process and safety requirements. Removable side panels facilitate thorough cleaning and support contamination-free production. This allows the equipment to be flexibly adapted to different material properties and purity requirements.
Optionally, cleaning can be supported by integrated air and water nozzles – a CIP system enables efficient, automated removal of residues without manual effort.
Under certain conditions, fine bulk materials can create an explosive atmosphere. Our systems meet the ATEX requirements for dust explosion protection for many products.
